On the 22nd May 2022, I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon. I will be running on behalf of a beloved friend of mine that passed away in his sleep, John Jefferson Nesbitt, aged only 18. 

I will be fundraising for the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital Inherited Cardiac Conditions & Heart Muscle Disease Service which is undertaking research into early identification of markers of risk in the Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome(SADS).

John lived in the moment and enjoyed every day, he saw the best in everyone. He had a contagious smile and the ability to brighten everyone’s life. This is for you John xx.
