LOROS Hospice is a local charity delivering free care and support to over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland each year. Our free high-quality, compassionate services are tailored to be special and unique to each terminally ill patient, their family and carers.

Story

Hi guys, I have decided to try something totally  new this year, and taking on my first ever boxing match, on 24th March, after an 8 week intense training programme. I'm a complete boxing novice (and actually pretty much an exercise novice after having Eden 8 months ago!)

It's a charity event, raising money for Loros Hospice, who cared for my good friend Jess at the end of her journey last year. Jess died of a rare form of cancer called sarcoma and had her whole future taken from her in months. I'm hoping to raise awareness of this rare type of cancer. Jess spoke so fondly of Loros and the fact that they facilitated her "wish list", allowing Jess to live, not survive, for her last few weeks. Any money I raise will hopefully allow others to do the same as brilliant, beautiful Jess.

For an extra bit of fun, whoever donates the most can pick my "walk out" song, as I step into the ring.

So please, buy a ticket if you want a laugh at this mum of two getting in the ring against an actual opponent (and not my toddler for once!) and sponsor me to support Loros.

Ticket link below, please use my full name Harriet Nunn when purchasing :)
