Hello, thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.

 

Those who know me will know I am taking a gap year to undertake some voluntary work abroad. I have been so fortunate in being offered a placement with VSO in Nepal (can you believe it!) 

 

VSO is a charity that has been running for 55 years. They do incredible work supporting communities abroad to overcome poverty and improve their life, health and education chances. I'm leaving on the 20th November for a 3 month placement where I will be living with a host family in the Baglung district. I will be learning about the challenges they face as well as working with both local and international volunteers in order to improve health and livelihoods. I hope in my small way I can support others to make a positive difference.
