I am running a half marathon to raise money for the Women for Afghan Women (WAW) charity as they work at a grassroots level to protect the rights of Afghan women and girls. They are operating during the current crisis in Afghanistan to continue to defend the women, families and staff who rely on them. Your donation will ensure that WAW can keep working to transform attitudes towards gender-based violence, using a bottom-up approach with over 850 local Afghan staff.
