Story
Hi, thanks for getting this far and visiting my fundraising page, all you need to do now is click the link below and donate. 100% of your money reaches the charity through this site and Gift Aid can be claimed where possible.
They say that race day is the easy part and that the long miles ran in training through unpredictable British weather is where all the real hard graft is done. All the early mornings and late evenings ahead spent sweating in my fluorescent lycra, red faced, huffing and puffing is surely worth a donation! Please give what you can and support me in my cause: raising money for a charity and completing the 2012 ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon in a respectable time.
I will be running for the chosen charity of TUI UK & Ireland, The Family Holiday Association. The FHA is the only national charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged families to take an important break away from home. The charity helps to provide short breaks for economically and socially deprived children and their families. Typically, the families are affected by severe financial hardship and with extra difficulties such as long-term or terminal illness, violence or abuse, depression, disability or overcrowded and inadequate housing. Currently, the charity hopes to help about 2,000 families this year - around 9,000 individuals - to have what is often their first ever family holiday. Your donation will make a real difference.

I'm looking forward to increasing the distances of my runs and getting closer to 13.2 miles as October approaches, my friends and family behind me every step of the way with their debit cards at the ready... so go on, what are you waiting for?!
