Hi I’m Harrison and On the 9th of June I will be 10 years old.

Inspired by the amazing achievements of Captain Tom, our idea is to raise money for charities affected by Coronavirus. With my supporting team of Mummy, Bow, Claire, Amanda, Ellie, Michelle, Sydney, Mrs Shmuel, Mrs Rosenthal, Georgie & William, Heather. We are aiming to collectively reach over 1 MILLION hula hoops by my 10th birthday. 

We each do about 100 spins every minute, so if we all hula hoop for 22 minutes each day starting Saturday 25th April we can individually achieve over 100,000 spins (that’s 2.200 hula hoops every day for 46 days) and together we can reach the goal of over 1 MILLION hula hoops and hopefully raise lots of money on the way. 

Everyone taking part can choose their own charities to support as part of the challenge but most of us have chosen to support Crohn’s and Colitis Uk because of personal ties with people who have IBD. My mum is Crohn’s sufferer and a Trustee of the charity - she tells me that even though they’ve had to cancel all their events and have lost much of their income because of Coronavirus, they are helping more people than ever right now.

All charities need our support so if you are up for joining us in hula hooping let us know so we can keep track of our total hula hoop target. If you can’t hula hoop, any donation you can give  is hugely appreciated.
