Story
hello!
Yes, we are both doing the London Marathon and have set up this page to help raise some well needed funds for a local charity.
Unfortunately Andrew has had to pull out of the 2011 race with a foot injury but Chris is still running it on Sunday 17th April.
The Avenues Youth Project is a really good place for youngsters in the Kilburn, Queens Park and North Westminster area to access a wide range of formal and informal learning and recreational opportunities. Have a look on their website for more details on what they do and how helping us to to raise money will effect so many local kids.

In his job for the NHS in Westminster, Andrew has seen first hand the excellent work that The Avenues does and the effect that this can have on kids who might not have had the best start in life or have had the opportunities that many of us took for granted. They have also had 60% of their funding cut this year, so anything that we raise will have a massive effect on the running of the project.
I'm sure we're not the first to send you an email asking for sponsorship and I doubt we'll be the last. But I can assure you that this will be the one and only time that we do so.
They say charity begins at home and The Avenues is a short walk from where we both live - so we'd love your help to raise money so that they can continue to help kids in the area.

We know times are tough for everyone at the moment, so we really appreciate any money that you can give. It really is for a good cause.
Thanks
