Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to challenge myself and take part in the 'Run to the Beat' event which will be held at Wembley in September. I want to raise money and awareness for Meningitis Rsearch. I also will be running  in memory of my friend Sarah Robotham.

I meet Sarah in 2010 whilst working at John Lewis. We became good friends at work and out of the working environment. Sarah was very supportive when I left John Lewis and started something new. She told me to never give up and to make sure I kept smiling no matter what!

When I told her I was going to take a big step and go to University, she was very happy for me and helped me along the way. Even if we didn't see much of each other due to commitments, we still had time to have a chat and make sure we were doing fine. It was always nice to bump into Sarah around town or on a night out. Her smile would always lighten up my day.

Sarah raised money for charity in the summer of 2013, performing a sky dive and which helped raised money for a great cause. A lot of Sarah's friends have been organising events to raise money and awareness of Meningitis such as radio shows, sky dives a also a Summer of Sarah night which is coming up in the next week.

We miss you very much Sarah, I thank you for being a wonderful friend over the years and I will make you proud by raising money and awareness. I know you will be there making sure I do my best! :)
