I will be participating in my own 4x4x48 Goggins Challenge, beginning at Midnight on the 20th December. It's a 4 mile run, every 4 hours for 48 hours. Meaning the final run will be at 8pm on Tuesday 21st December and the challenge ending at Midnight on the 22nd December. I will be joined by friends and family on various runs to support me. My friend has a son (aged 7 years old) who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Duchenne UK are the leading Charity in fighting and searching for a breakthrough to help his son and all boys with Duchenne.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development. Together, we will end Duchenne.
