On June 11th 2022, a team from Harrogate Challengers Netball Club will be taking on the famous Great Knaresborough Bed Race. A team of six will first parade the streets in our costumes with our dressed bed before racing it (plus rider!) through the cobbled and hilly streets of Knaresborough, taking on the Mighty Castle Ings Hill and finally swimming/pulling it across the River Nidd....and all in the name of fun and competition! To help keep us motivated and smiling throughout our training, we are raising money for Candlelighters -  a local charity, doing great work to support families and young people in our region. 

Candlelighters work to improve the outcomes and lives of children with cancer through vital research projects and support ordinary families facing extraordinary circumstances.
