Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity funds specialist equipment, training and services going above and beyond the provision of the NHS to help enhance treatment, facilities and the environment for the benefit of staff, patients, service users and families across our Hospitals and wider Community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our HAADI JustGiving page.

The Harrogate Association of Approved Driving Instructors has set up this page on behalf of our committee and members.

Around 150 babies each year require high dependency or intensive care provided by the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Harrogate District Hospital. Many of them need help with their breathing which is administered through specialist ventilators.

The SCBU would like to replace the old and aging ventilators with new models so they can continue to provide the best possible care for their babies.

A new ventilator costs around £25,000 so during 2013/2014, HAADI members have selected the SCBU as their nominated charity in the hope of making a small contribution to the ventliator appeal.

We are hoping to raise this through several events over the year but hopefully with this JustGiving team page, we can harness the power of social media and raise a few more £££'s!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks for reading this and why not donate a few pounds right away!
