My Story - I did not know anything about kidney failure until it was too late. This happened in August 2017. It was a 5am message from my mum and I flew back to Hong Kong that same morning to see my Grandma, and that was my last time seeing her loving eyes at the very last moment.

My Action - I'd like to turn my sad story to a positive action. I’m taking the 850CycleChallenge to another level. I'm doing an 8848m Everesting challenge to raise awareness of Kidney disease. I want to help the other families to not go through what I went through. The money raised will go straight to Kidney Research UK to support their research and kidney patients.

Kidney Research - There are currently 850 million people worldwide living with kidney disease. This is not OK. With kidney disease now being the ninth top cause of death, Kidney Research UK has never been more important. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Research is key to transforming kidney health and support is crucial to make this happen. Please donate whatever you can, every donation will help to keep research going and help kidney patients. Everesting Challenge - This is a huge challenge to most non professional cyclists. It is about cycling up a selected hill repeatedly until a height equivalent to Mount Everest of 8848m is achieved. This will likely take me 16+ hours of riding, starting in the dark and finishing in the dark to complete it. I will have to take my body and mind beyond the current limits. It will be tough, but that's the reason it is called a challenge.
