Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising funds for the British Heart Foundation, and I'd be so grateful for your support. My goal is to raise £3,000, with any donation, small or large, greatly appreciated.
I am incredibly excited to say that I will be participating in the Brighton Marathon come September.
I am doing this in memory of my Grandad, who sadly passed away before I saw him. His heart condition meant he passed away in the arms of my Dad, and I want to play my role in ensuring this happens to less each year.
Although raising this funding predominantly for him, I am doing this for countless others who have also sadly lost loved ones.
The pandemic has led to various charities being unable to host fundraising events which has ultimately affected their ability to raise funding. If there was ever a time they needed our support, it is now.
I'm sure I can vouch for many of us here, but the ability to take part in an outdoor event no longer seems that bad. Being stuck indoors for multiple months means I am grateful for the chance, regardless of the task.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but sadly, hundreds of people lose their lives every day.
My poor spelling and inability to write a compelling story means I'll stop here 😂.
Thank you for the support guys, it means a lot.
