Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a sporting student I am always looking for another challenge. Therefore, in the upcoming September I will be participating in Tough Mudder, a mud filled endurance course designed to test your physical and mental strength. This is no ordinary 10 mile run as it's only respite from the track is twenty obstacles with the intent to test you further and truly push your limits. I intended to do this for myself as a personal challenge to recover fitness after a recent injury cut my rugby season short. However I have decided my time would be much better spent trying to raise money for the well deserving charity, Prostate Cancer UK.

In the UK 1 in 8 males are affected by prostate cancer at some point in their life making it the most common cancer diagnosed in men. This makes it a likely opportunity that myself, family member, friend, colleague or team mate could be affected by this disease. This is why I felt running for the charity was a worthy cause and aim to raise a baseline of £300 to fund the much needed research, as understanding is half the battle. I hope you are able to support the charity with me in any way you can.

Thank you

Harry
