Hadrian's Wall Challenge 2022

Harry Reekie is raising money for Cure Leukaemia
In memory of Geoff Hill
With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses at UK blood cancer centres, giving patients access to treatments through clinical trials. This support drives global significant advancements in blood cancer, impacting those affected by the disease.

Story

I'm having a go at walking the length of Hadrian's Wall at Easter in memory of our great friend and former boss Geoff Hill, who died of leukaemia in 2021.

Geoff was a passionate supporter of the blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia so all proceeds will be going to a brilliant cause and an organisation he cared deeply about.

Hadrian's Wall is 135km in total, from Wallsend in the east to Bowness-on-Solway in the west so will take several days to complete. I'm hoping I get lucky with the weather.....and blisters.

Please sponsor me if you can, I'd love to hit my £2000 target!

For those who didn't know Geoff, here's a moving interview he did with Mary Nightingale shortly before he passed away:
