In memory of Mark Thornberry
Mark Thornberry was the epitome of determination. Despite being diagnosed with a form of liver cancer, being told in 2017 that he had just a few months to live, he was determined to use his passion to raise vital funds for liver cancer researh.

Story

Hi

On the 3rd of April, Jet & I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of Mark the Shark and for the liver cancer unit at Kings College Hospital.

The unit was instrumental in helping my old man throughout his illness, particularly in his latter years. The treatment options for liver cancer patients are very limited and the research £s are just not there for less survivable cancers. So all money donated will go into Marks page and straight to the unit.

My dad truly was a remarkable man, after being told in 2017 that he had 6 months to live... he then defied the odds, going on to live 3 more years, run 3 100+ mile races & more, raising £150k+ for Kings!

Any donation will be greatly appreciated and go to a fantastic cause, that means a lot!
