Charcot-Marie-Tooth UK (formerly CMT United Kingdom) is the national support group for people affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, aka Hereditary Motor and Sensory Neuropathy. We provide advice, support and information for people with the condition, family, carers and medical professionals.

Story

On the 30 March 2015 I am doing a skydive in memory of my Dad, Jeremy.  After years of wanting to do one I’ve finally booked it!

Although I can’t wait to launch myself out of a plane, the main reason for my skydive is to raise awareness and money for a charity called ‘CMT UK’. They support people who have the illness my Dad had, Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease which is a group of inherited conditions that damage the peripheral nerves.  I’ve seen firsthand how the disease weakens and takes control of someone’s body, it is terrifying and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
