Ride & Stride is an annual sponsored event where people walk or bike/horse ride to as many churches they can between 10am & 4pm. Each participant chooses which church they choose to support.

 Starting at St Peter's Ropsley at 10am on Saturday 10th Sept, I will be running a circular route to ten other churches in the North Beltisloe benefice (and formerly of it ) within the villages of Old Somerby, Boothby Pagnell, Bassingthorpe, Burton Coggles, Bitchfield, Ingoldsby, Lenton, Great Humby, Sapperton and Braceby.

As a result, I have termed this the 'Beltisloe Loop'  - which will hopefully be completed in four hours.

St Peter's church in Ropsley, Lincolnshire, is the beneficiary of my run. Like many country churches, it is regarded as part of the fabric of the village, but maintaining these beautiful stone buildings as places for the community to meet, celebrate, mourn and worship - takes funding.
