Richard House Children’s Hospice supports children and their families in East London to lead as positive and happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. Our services support the whole family, from residential clinical care, to music therapy to end of life care.

Story

Hi, I'm Harry @Harrysmillion. I guess you are wondering what this is all about.

I'm now 25 years old and have been using Richard House Children's Hospice for more than 10 years. It has been a big part of my life and I want every child that goes there to have the same wonderful experiences that I have.

Aged two I was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrmophy Type 2. It is a degenerative condition, which means that muscle deterioration affects my breathing and movement of my arms and legs. It can deteriorate to the point where I have zero mobility except being able to speak.

Last Christmas I was seriously ill with a chest infection and thought I was going to die. So did the doctor. On my way to recovery I was told that the next infection could easily kill me.

Before I die - and it could be next week, it could be next year - I want to raise £1 million for Richard House through my campaign Harry's Million.

I want my legacy to inspire the other kids that grow up using Richard House. Please help me leave this legacy.
