Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I shall be running the full marathon at the Dubai Marathon on 16th January and have decided to raise money for Pratham with this run.
Pratham has been making quiet inroads in the field of child education across India for the last 14 years. It is my charity of choice because the cause is one i strongly believe in and Pratham provides transperency and a strong focus on community outreach programs.
Pratham has pioneered an accelerated learning method across its schools and believes in working in tandem with local corporates and governments for greater reach. In addition, it has done commendable work towards quantifying both the extent of the problem and its own impact towards addressing it. The funds are being raised for Pratham UK and shall be used for Pratham programs in India - the reason im raising money for the UK chapter is that Pratham UK is a registered charity on Justgiving, which makes the whole process of raising money for charities online simple and efficient.
