Story
Our Daddy, a fun loving, very kind and humble man has been healthy all throughout his life.
However this changed for him and for all of us, in the last 4 months of his life (February 2023 - June 2023) following the diagnosis of an aggressive form of cancer out of the blue, which came as a total shock for all of us and even as we type this is still hard to comprehend as it took away his ability to speak clearly and eat properly.
Our Dad fought the battle bravely every day since being diagnosed Middle of February 2023 until Saturday 10th June 2023.
St Luke's Hospice took great care of our Daddy in the last days with lots of love, tenderness and understanding. They've looked after not only our dad but also our Mum who has been beside our Daddy every day and night, 24/7. The team are incredible, a team of Angels.
In memory of our Daddy, Reena and I signed upto St Luke's Midnight Walk only yesterday, to walk 9 miles and kindly request all of our family, friends and well-wishers in-lieu of flowers to please consider making a donation to St Luke's Hospice.
St Luke's is only partially funded by the Government, they rely solely on donations to be able to provide FREE CARE in the Community and every single donation no matter how big or small will count, helping to make the last days as comfortable as possible.
