Edukid aim to remove the barriers to education faced by children living in poverty and conflict around the world. We work in Cambodia, Uganda and Peru, ensuring children have access to quality education, in order to provide an opportunity for a brighter future, one which is free from poverty.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

We are taking part in a challenge to walk a mile a day EVERY day.  We are doing this alongside other students across the UK.  Together, we will take on the challenge of walking 238,900 miles, which is the distance from the earth to the moon.  We are taking part in order to raise money for the children living in severe poverty.

Edukid supports children living in poverty by providing them with an education.  In particular, Edukid focuses on former child soldiers, abductees, orphans, child led families, HIV/AIDS and those living in extremely poor conditions.  It is through education that these children can gain qualifications and skills to break out of the cycle of poverty.  Every penny raised through this sponsorship will be used to enable a child to go to school.
