We provide practical & emotional support to children fighting cancer in Yorkshire

Story

In late 2016 Hatmill made the decision to make The Candlelighters Trust our charity of the year. To raise money and awareness the team have arranged to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks on June 21st 2017.

Sadly around 1,500 children in the UK are diagnosed with cancer each year. The Candlelighters Trust is Yorkshire's leading children's cancer charity, dedicated to supporting the children living with this disease, as well as their families.

Candlelighters support families in Yorkshire facing children's cancer. They support children's wards by investing in new equipment, funding roles and making the wards a more friendly place for the children and their families. Candlelighters also fund important cancer research.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is an arduous and exhausting task but will be made all the easier as we complete it for this extremely deserving cause. The walk cover over 24 miles and three peaks all of which are above 2,220 ft.

The participants are listed below:

Simon Dixon, James Marston, John Hayward, Ed Northway, Rebecca Donnelly, Matt Hill, Matt Spittle, Nik Pamplin, Phil Southern, Richard Holt, Rob Eberstein, Steve Coleman, Taylor Atkinson & Alex Hirst.

Any donations to the Candlelighters will be highly appreciated by both Hatmill and the Candlelighters. Thank you in advance for donation.
