Grief Encounter aims to relieve the emotional distress of bereaved children, young people and their families. We help by developing and promoting resources and by raising public awareness of bereavement issues for children. No-one can wave a magic wand but Grief Encounter can help the journey.

Story

On Sunday 21st March 2021, Molly, Daisy and Betty are joining Grief Encounters inaugural covid-secure 'forget-me-not' walk in memory of their Daddy and to raise funds for bereaved children, young people and their families across the UK. You can learn more here: https://www.griefencounter.org.uk/event/the-forget-me-not-walk/

100% of the funds raised will go towards supporting bereaved children and young people who have experienced the death of someone close. Grief Encounter offer professional support services online, including group workshops, individual e-counselling and memory workshops for all of those who need them. They can't do that without your support. Just £26 could fund a helpline session for someone impacted by grief, offering them immediate help and advice following a bereavement. The girls are aiming to raise £78 which is the equivalent of a counselling session each. Thank you for your support.
