Havering Henley

Salehin Sajid is raising money for The Conservation Volunteers (TCV)

Team: Wates Canoe 125 Henley

Wates Canoe 125 Helney · 20 May 2022

The Wates Group, one of the UKs leading privately-owned construction, development & property services companies has joined up with TCV as their charity of the year partner.

Story

11 mediocre sea farers from the Wates Havering team will be paddling down the River Thames to support wellbeing and the environment!

Six Wates dragon boats will be racing down from Reading to Henley to raise funds for our incredible charity partner The Conservation Volunteers. TCV support people to improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing by being outdoors, active, and connected with others - while creating, protecting and improving green spaces for nature and people.

Due to the pandemic fundraising goals were diminishing, and because of this we'd love to to raise as much as possible to celebrate all the amazing work they have continued to do in the past five years as our charity partner.

All your support is hugely appreciated.

Thank you,

The Havering Team
