Just a reminder of the importance of this event and why we are so grateful for your support. Last year Havering Mind celebrated 50 years of providing direct mental health services to the residents of Havering. Within the last 2 years we have been subjected to 40% reduction in government funding. This is despite referalls to our services from GPs, the NHS, schools etc having increased 20% per year for the last 5 years.  Havering Mind is an independent charity that relies on its own funding with no financial support from National Mind; hence the tremendous importance of fund raising events such as this and the kind support of people like yourselves.
