Story

Come along on the 27th August at 2pm BST to raise money on twitch.tv/TheHawkeward, where I will be playing the Sims and hanging out with my wife! You can join in on the fun with crowd control and enjoy Mel's artistic side.

Donation tier list:

£2 - get me to eat some sour sweets!
£5 - spin the wheel to find out what Sharpie tattoo Mel will be giving me!
£10 - choose your own tattoo to be drawn on me (within reason!)
Target Reached! - I will produce a special video based on the stream and upload it to youtube

I have fibro myself, and as I developed it recently I was very quick to notice a lack of support or understanding about my condition, even amongst the medical profession. I also have friends and family who suffer from it so it is a topic very close to my heart. Fibro is often considered disability-lite and so not as much support is offered to those of us who have it because we're not seen as needing it. FMA UK is a very small charity dedicated to helping people like me have a better quality of life while living with a chronic illness.

Fibromyalgia is a recognised chronic condition of widespread pain and profound fatigue. A common illness with an est. prevalence of 2.9% - 4.7%. The pain tends to be felt as diffuse aching or burning, often described as head to toe. It may be worse at some times than at others and may also change location, usually becoming more severe in parts of the body that are used most. Add. symptoms often include: unrefreshing sleep, headaches, irritable bowel, cognitive disturbances, clumsiness, dizziness, allergies, sensitivity to environmental changes.
