Story
Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives. Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams.
Haybridge students voted for Guide Dogs as this year's school charity. The COVID19 #lockdown has meant that we can't be together in school to take part in fundraising activities but that needn't stop us.
Anything you - students, parents / carers, staff and friends of the school - can do safely to help out via this page would be amazing.
Whether it's getting sponsored for a 2.6km / 2.6 mile walk or bike ride, a climb (of your stairs!), juggling 26 balls, doing 26 keepi-uppies, singing 26 songs... or just donating what you can afford - everything helps!
Thank you
