I am  taking part in Prudential RideLondon–Surrey 100 on 29th July for Rays of Sunshine. Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.
Rays of Sunshine grant wishes for seriously ill children across the UK and during 2018/19 Peel Hunt is fundraising for the charity.
Myself and Peel Hunt as a team,want to make nine year old Maria's wish to visit Disney Florida with her family, come true. Maria, from London, is currently living with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic condition that affects the lungs, digestive system and other organs, which causes a wide range of challenging symptoms and dramatically reduces life expectancy. Due to her condition, Maria has to take daily medication, spend time in hospital for treatment, as well as do daily physiotherapy.
Despite this, she is a positive and happy young girl.
