Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.
Story
Barry and Chelsea will be doing a 160ft Bungee Jump On 13th October in Memory of their Little Angel Hayden-James, who sadly passed away 10th May 2011, to a genetic condition known as Edwards Syndrome. After a precious 12 hours with their son before he slipped away in his mammy and daddy's arms, Barry and Chelsea have been doing all they can to keep their son's memory alive, by doing fundraising events with all the money going to the University Of Wales Hospital in Cardiff, where Little Hayden-James, Barry and Chelsea spent all their precious time together bonding as a family. After raising an amazing £1250 for the hospital, they decided to commit themselves to a Charity and having seen Sands amazing work they decided to go with them. All donations will be given to 'Sands'. A Charity that offers support for families suffering a loss of a baby/child. All donations are gratefully accepted, and don't forget... Every penny counts!
