I am attempting to cross the finish line at The Royal Parks Half Marathon. (I've left the record breaking glory to Eluid). Its been a dream of mine ever since moving to London 6 years ago, to run this particular iconic route, past some of my favourite parts of London (if only it ran through Granger&Co hey), and to prove to myself that my goals, if prioritized can still be achieved. (Also, my husband is away so 2 odd hours of child-free, lactic acid build up is not a bad way to spend Sunday morning! LOL!)

Jokes aside, more than me achieving any medal the real heros here are the staff and organizers at Hospices of Hope. HOH is an incredible charity that does the most wonderful work for the terminally ill in Romania. Without Hospices of Hope, and our support, the outlook for these patients is extremely grim. I feel honored to have met many of the Hospices of Hope hero's and to have friends who have visited their Hospices around Romania, vouching for the heartfelt work of HOH. I know this is a sector I usually wouldn't know about or be able to support and am grateful for the opportunity to touch a world so far from my own. Every pound, pence, rand or cents goes directly towards HoH and helps enormously. Thank you for cheering me and HOH on!
