In 2018 my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

The new was devastating to us all, but we had to keep going and stay strong for her, as she was so frightened, it was her worse nightmare that came a reality.  As time has past my mums condition has progressed at a rapid speed. No one can prepare you for it. Our world was turned upside down. 

Then we found our dementia choir, who we now call our family. This choir is an inspiration, and being part of it is so very special. Not only does it help my mum, it creates new memories through the power of music. Music stays in the brain, and is the last thing to go. Please help support this wonderful choir.
