Hi guys, so last week I had a crazy moment, a Hayley crazy moment and decided at very short notice to join 18 other people and walk the 3 peaks in North Yorkshire!

With no training and walking boots I brought the day before I set off to Hawes, North Yorkshire with no one I knew not even knowing really what it was all about. All I knew is Raystead needed me (lol).

So up I got at 5.15am on Saturday the 7th of September and got ready to walk Yorkshires 3 peaks (Ingleborough 724m) (Pen-y-ghent 694m) (Whernside 736m).

Our goal was to do this in 12 hours!

Most of you reading this now might have given up as there's loads more to do but please take a minute to donate if you can no matter how small. None of us know what's round the corner and when we might need a charity like Raystead to help.

After roughly 12 hours I completed the challenge getting home in the dark off the last peak and it was the most amazing experience of my life so far.  The people I met along the way each gave me a special friendship I needed to help me finish and succeed. People as well as animals are really magic.
