24 years ago I  lost my best friend to cancer leaving behind her young family.

 Roll on 23 years my best friend yvonne rang with the devastating news she had the dreaded Cancer  too, to say we were all heart broken is an understatement. yvonne has shown true courage through chemo & radiation. We would drive on up to st lukes she would be in & out in no time  not a moan she has been truly amazing with the thanks of st lukes  & st Vincent’s hosp  

Yvonne is now recovering from all treatments and responded brilliant it’s been a battle for her losing her hair catching hospital bugs to thinking we may lose her but what a fighter, in her recovery she nominated me for her mrs Higgins winning me a voucher for woodies in her sickness she was still thinking of others  truly mega proud of this lady I call my best friend  x
