Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Earlier in the year a very good friend of mine asked me if wanted to do a parachute jump! I politely said no (I'm scared of heights!) and said that I would rather run a marathon! That conversation planted a seed and ended with me applying for a charity place with the Primrose Hospice and I am thrilled to have been offered a place :-)

They have been fantastic in the support that they have given not only to me, but to my Mum and my children following the loss of my Dad and all of us including Alan, Millie & Teddy following the loss of my sister last year. They were there for my sister during her battle with a brain tumour and we received counselling and all the support we needed to cope with losing them both, this counselling and support was offered free of charge.

The Primrose Hospice are able to offer this support and run the hospice through generous donations and fund raising from the public and local businesses and running the marathon would be my way of saying thank you to them for all they have done. Anything you can donate would be gratefully received and appreciated - thank you, it's going to be hard work but so worth it!
