She wore diamonds on the soles of her shoes

This time last year I was preparing to run a marathon for CRUK. Little did I know then, that my very first sponsor and keen supporter would themselves be diagnosed and subsequently die from Ovarian cancer. The earlier a woman is diagnosed with ovarian cancer the more likely she will respond to treatment but sadly most women are diagnosed once the disease has already spread, and one in five is diagnosed too late for any treatment at all. Few of us know the symptoms. Without a serious boost in awareness, women will continue to be diagnosed too late.
Caroline died on Christmas day. She was only 43 and too young to die.
Please help me to raise awareness and funds by supporting me through the many step challenges I hope to do in her memory.
