Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My husband, David, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is currently undergoing hormone therapy which will be followed by radiotherapy in a few months time. He will also be undergoing an operation on the 15thSeptember and, because of the current situation, we will both be going into self isolation for 14 days prior to this. During those 14 days I can go out as long as I don’t meet up with anyone inside or outside and I have decided to take on a PROST14 DAY CHALLENGE in aid of Prostate Scotland when I intend to cycle an average of 8+14 miles per day (22 miles) with my total mileage equal to or exceeding 14x22=308 miles over the 14 days

This Challenge will be even greater as, again because of the current
situation, I won’t be able to have coffee and scone stops!! A
hydration drink and cereal bar are a poor substitute!!

intend starting this Challenge on Tuesday 1st September and will post my mileage and route on a daily basis on my Facebook page which I have made public for all to see.
