Love Support Unite is paving the way for us all to help our brothers and sisters to find ways to truly thrive in Malawi, Africa. Simultaneously providing education, healthcare and skills training to ensure every child and young adult has the opportunity to survive, develop, grow and succeed; through our love filled support.
I have been very impressed and taken with an incredibly bright and gifted girl that I met whilst visiting the Tilinanu Orphanage in Lilongwe, Malawi. Her name is Wezzie and she is the kind of bright and heart centred young woman who will shine so brightly over the coming decades to make positive changes in bringing back sovereignty to the people within Malawi.
I wish for the funds I raise at this moment to support Wezzies higher education for as long as is required. She has just passed her A levels with straight A’s and I couldn’t be prouder!! Now I need to fund her to go to University, she has two offers already. Despite the tutors being paid meagre salaries university education is expensive.
I’m in training now to join the Love Support Unite sponsored walk in the Snowdonia mountains in the UK in September 23. If anyone would like to sponsor me to climb mountains alongside much younger people, I’d be so grateful! I know there are many great causes to support so any amount you can spare will be so gratefully received. Many people collaborating and offering a little, creates life changing opportunities for others.
My heart tells me that beautiful heart centred Wezzie is one of the future change makers who will emerge from within Malawi and of course, Africa and will help to radically change the lives of millions for the better one day.
The whole premise of the charity is based on Love which is both given and received, the Support which we can give them at this time as we Unite as One World, One Humanity, One!
LSU work closely with communities to develop long-term solutions local people implement and run themselves. LSU devised the ‘self-sustaining school’ where normally crops are grown to pay the teachers and feed the children, safeguarding attendance of both students and teachers alike. This years drought has caused a serious famine in the area, so our help is desperately needed.
