The Virtual LeJog Team Challenge · 20 April 2020

We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

Hi

Myself and 5 kids Luke McDonnell age 11, Lydia Turan age 12, Josh Power age 14, Edward Amies age 13 and Dexter Murphy age 8, from Holmfirth Cycling Club, have set ourselves the challenge of cycling 971 miles over the next 2 weeks - the equivalent of Land’s End to John O’Groats!  We will be doing a mixture of turbo trainer and outdoor cycling, weather and COVID restrictions permitting!   The amount of time we all ride per day varies from youngest (40 minutes) to oldest (90 minutes).

We have decided to raise money for the Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Sheffield Children's Hospital who look after the sickest children across Yorkshire
