In December 2020, our dad passed away very suddenly. It was a major shock to our family and the school community. 

In honour of him, our school has decided to have a Teachers vs Students Hockey Match to raise money for Sport in Mind. My dad loved sports and never missed a Hockey Match at the school. He always cheered us on and was a great supporter at the sidelines. He encouraged all children to do something they loved, and for us that was sport. 

We felt Sport in Mind was a perfect charity as it brings people together in hard times by the power of sport and physical exercise. We also chose this charity as we feel people need extra support during the mentality tough lock-downs. It would be great for anyone to donate what they can.
