Story

On 30th January the HC Exec team will be taking part in a very special Job Swap, shadowing roles around the company - in both London and Glasgow - to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Each member of the Exec has pledged to fundraise or personally donate £200 for the pleasure of taking part in the swap, and the company will match those initial funds - so please do give generously so that we can make as much as possible for a brilliant cause.

In Glasgow Charlie Redmayne and John Athanasiou are both going to be part of the Pick and Pack team in the warehouse, with Sheena Barclay answering the phones in customer services, Laura Meyer manning the bookshop and delivering the mail, Simon Johnson will be working as an Editorial Assistant in Collins Learning and Ed Kielbasiewicz will be part of the Royalties team in Finance.

Meanwhile in London, David Roth-Ey will be helping man reception, Ann-Janine Murtagh will be serving the coffees in the Cafe, Carole Tonkinson will be out and about with the guys from the Post Room, Colin Hughes will be shadowing an Editorial Assistant in William The 4th, Oliver Wright will be working as a Marketing Assistant in Fiction, Simon Dowson-Collins will spend the day as a Sales Executive in Collins Learning and Kate Elton will be shadowing a Production Assistant in Children’s.

Please get donating - every little helps - and feel free to offer words of encouragement to particular members of the Exec team!
