Hello everyone! I am taking on an incredible challenge to raise money for HCPT, a charity that helps disabled and disadvantaged children and young adults. I will be cycling nearly 2000km from Paris to Santiago de Compostella to raise funds for this important cause.

A lot has happened since the last HCPT Cycle back in 2019. Due to the COVID pandemic, the 2021 HCPT Cycle was actually completed virtually on my turbo trainer and it was during this event that I was diagnosed with cancer. I was very lucky to get a very early diagnosis and after successful surgery and an extended period of recuperation I am currently healthy and determined to stop putting off the challenges that I have thought of doing.

One of those challenges is to cycle the Camino and so this time when I cycle into Lourdes I will only be half way there! I will return to Lourdes to continue over the Pyrenees and across Spain to Santiago de Compostella.
