I'll be running the 2021 London Marathon; a distance of 26.2 miles! My hope is to raise enough money to fund as many years travel as possible for HCPT Group 170 and contribute to HCPT HQ who work tirelessly to organise and manage our trip each and every year. 

Our trips in 2020 and 2021 were cancelled due to COVID and the well-being of all of the vulnerable children we travel with. That said, the charity is hoping to travel in 2022 and for that we need to keep raising the funds and awareness of the amazing work that HCPT does. 

HCPT Group 170 is a charity that take disabled and disadvantaged children to Lourdes for a holiday of a lifetime and to give much needed respite to families who need it most.  

I've been a volunteer with HCPT for 10 years and have seen first hand the amazing work we carry out.

Group 170 take 6-8 children each year, depending on their needs and the availability of suitable helpers. 

It costs just over £1,000 to take each child to Lourdes (plus the adult fares which they pay / fundraise for themselves). This includes the flights, accommodation, coaches to the airport, food, trips and cafe visits as well as craft activities and games equipment etc.
