Why has H D Consultants chosen Essex and Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) as the Charity of the Year 2022?

EHAAT's aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Some key stats;

• Each mission costs over £2,200
• EHAAT treats on average 1,000 patients each year
• The Critical Care Team are dispatched 6 times per day

.... and, one of our own team members, a Colchester based mortgage broker, was involved in a serious car crash, and he says he owes his life to the EHAAT first responders who attended the scene.

A wonderful charity, dependant on donations and not government funded.
