When I first learned about JVC, I experienced something I’d only felt a few times in my life — a near-instantaneous, bone-deep certainty that this would be the next big step I would take in my life.

JVC’s core values of Spirituality, Simple Living, Community, and Social Justice spoke to me, and the more I learned about the program the more excited I was to take a leap out of my comfort zone and try something new. 

I believe that everyone deserves to live in dignity, comfort, and safety, which is why I am thrilled to be joining the Migrant Farmworkers Assistance Fund as their Youth Program Specialist. I look forward to this next year and all the challenges it brings, and I’m so grateful to all my loved ones who have supported me as I start this journey!
