Update: 18 March 2011

The WINNER is........

JEFF BEARD!

The much anticipated weigh-in has finally taken place and we are pleased to announce Jeff Beard as the winner of the sponsored diet.

Losing just under a stone (6.4% loss), Jeff took the win from Neil by a gnats whisker.  Jerry amazed us all by coming third - without even trying - which means Bob came in a dignified last, proving that muscle really is heavier than fat!

WELL DONE to all and congratulations to Jeff.

Thanks to all who have supported and sponsored this event and helping to raise money for this excellent cause!  If you haven't done so already, it's not too late to make a donation.  Simply click the 'Donate now' button at the bottom of the page.

"New Year, New You"

Many resolve to turn over a healthy new leaf when it comes to the new year.  So, bidding farewell to the cake club for the next three months and taking up the challenge are Bob Gill, Jerry Rowett, Jeff Beard and Neil Thomas.

The aim is to achieve the highest percentage decrease in body weight by 15th March 2011.

The first weigh in took place on 11th January 2011 [the day before Neil's birthday, which meant no cake for him on his birthday... awww :( ]

The results: Jerry: 12st 7, Bob: 13st 6, Jeff: 14st 6, Neil: 16st

There will be no interim weigh-ins.  Just the final one on 15th March at the Opportunity Day in West Brom.

The three losers will donate £100 each to charity.
