Head Shave for Big Ben · 17 February 2017

Cavendish Cancer Care is a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer. No one should face cancer alone, so we provide emotional support through counselling and complementary therapies. Our services are provided free of charge and are funded through donations.

Story

Just before Christmas, one of our colleagues, Ben Vernon, informed us that earlier in 2016 he had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

As with many cancers, this can be very debilitating.  Ben has already been informed that he has a crushed vertebra which causes him pain.

Ben is now undergoing a course of chemotherapy.

In support of Ben (and his hair loss) six of his work colleagues; Nikki Clarke, Roger Nowell, Oliver Singleton, Pete Thompson, James Winters and I (Dave Needham) have just had our heads shaved on Friday 17th February.

We would all appreciate your support, but especially your donations.
