We’re fundraising for the Guy’s Head & Neck Cancer Centre to help save and improve the lives of people diagnosed with head and neck cancer. Donate today and your donation will be doubled!

Head and Neck cancer is the 6^th most common cancer and 12,000 people in the UK face a diagnosis every month. Head & Neck Cancer affects 15 different sites in the head and neck region, making it complex to diagnose and very challenging to treat. Despite advances in diagnosis and treatment over the years, a significant proportion of people (1 in 3) still lose their lives, often due to the cancer returning. For those who survive, the mental and physical side effects can be life changing, such as eating, speaking and breathing problems. 

Guy’s Cancer is a state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment centre, treating more people with the condition than anywhere else in the UK. Our new Guy’s Head and Neck Cancer Centre will re-imagine how care is delivered.  A diverse range of projects will focus on: transforming prevention and rapid early diagnosis; enhancing treatments to maximise effectiveness and minimise side effects; and developing providing state-of-the-art patient education, alongside dedicated support services for patients living with and beyond head and neck cancer.  

Breakthroughs in treatment and care that happen at Guy’s Cancer, not only impact the care of patients at the hospital, but also have the potential to benefit patients across the UK and all over the world, saving, and improving the quality of life of, tens of thousands of people with Head and Neck Cancer.
