Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am 69 years old and have used Mental Health Services for the past 28 years following an operation. Woodlands Unit has provided a safety net for me for the last 16 years. I have seen many people supported by staff despite serious financial constraints, especially in the current financial climate. The courtyard garden and the art room are places where people can relax and enjoy the calm and begin to work through their issues. Every penny of your donations will go towards materials and equipment necessary to enhance the environment for the ever changing clientele. I know how much I have gained from working in the garden and how much more could be done given the materials. In the art room I went from being terrified of putting anything onto paper to being able to use the space to express my feelings and gain self confidence. Anything you can give will greatly benefit those who use that service.
