We help people with hearing loss in Africa to gain access to healthcare & education

The Hear in Malawi Appeal will benefit some of the most isolated and poor people in Africa.  And every pound you give will be matched by the UK Government, doubling the value of your donation so that we can help many more people in need.

A child born in Malawi is more than twice as likely to be deaf as a child born in the developed world.  Yet Malawi has no free public audiology services.  This means that deaf people cannot get the medical or social support they need - deaf children cannot finish school and deaf adults struggle to find, and stay in, work.

The Hear in Malawi Appeal is raising money in order to build, equip and staff a comprehensive audiology service based at the region's largest hospital.  We are training African staff to help deaf people so that they can go to school and find work.

Please help us to make a life-changing difference to deaf children and adults in Malawi by supporting our appeal today.
